Are the prices on the website in US dollars?

> No, all prices are in Australian dollars.

Are your dresses in USA sizes or Australian sizes?

> All in Australian sizes, however you still need to check measurements at Sizing Info page.

Where is your business based?

> We are an Australian owned business, based in Perth, Western Australia.

I live in Perth and would like to visit your shop to try on some dresses. What is the address of your shop?

> Sorry, we don't have a physical shopfront. Basically, the operation of this website is much less expensive than the usual retail boutique. If we were located in a shopping mall for example, we would be subject to high rental and other overheads. By running an online store, we are able to pass these savings on to the general public. Sorry try-ons or viewing of garments are not possible. Internet sales only.

Does your website ship to overseas countries?

> No, we only ship to customers who have residential addresses in Australia.

What is the extra cost I need to pay for delivery?

> If you live in Australia - No extra cost - The Express Courier/Postage with either Australian Air Express or Australia Post is included in the price.

I'm interested in buying from your website, though I'm still a bit nervous with internet shopping. Is there anywhere that provides independent information on sites such as yours? I'd like some reassurance.

> If you look at the bottom of our Home Page there is a Paymate Trustmark Logo provided to Allegro Fashion from our Australian credit card merchant - Paymate. By clicking on the Paymate "TrustMark" logo, buyers can view current information held by Paymate on the Seller, including: the TrustMark Status of the seller as being 'approved', the Seller's email address as registered with Paymate, the Seller's Business Name and ABN if provided and the date since the Seller has been continually registered with Paymate. Buyers can assess the Seller based on this information to trade more confidently online. What this means is that Paymate considers that Allegro Fashion as a seller, has established a reliable online trading history.

I've read the info and checked out the Size measurements, but my waist size is 6 cms over what is in the Size Chart for the waist of the dress. I seem to be in between a Size 14 and 16. What size should I buy?

> If you're in between sizes, always go up to the next size. Buy the Size 16. You MAY need to have the dress taken in to suit your figure.

I've looked through your website, but I still cannot find what I'm looking for. If I email a photo of the dress that I'm after, can you locate the same dress or a similar style dress for me?

>Nearly everything that's available to us from the suppliers, is already featured on the website. Also, time constraints due to high volume of orders, don't allow us to seek out non-catalogue items at customer's request. Sorry we cannot help you in your search.

Later this year, I'd like to buy a gown from your site that I've fallen in love with for my school formal, but will it still be available in 5 months time?


>Cannot say for sure that far ahead, because we don't make decisions about styles being re-cut etc. or discontinued. It's totally up to the USA manufacturer. If you like the dress, then we strongly advise that you purchase it as soon as you are able, as supplier also sells to American shops. Stock sells out very fast, so our motto is 'first come, first served'.

Can you hold a dress or do you have a Layby scheme?

> No, sorry we don't offer those options. Those services would be very time-consuming and costly for us and this would definitely drive our garment prices right up!

I just love one of the dresses on your site but I want it to have longer sleeves and to be made in a colour that is not listed in the description. Can this be done?

> Sorry not possible. We buy all garments from the wholesaler 'as is' and 'off the rack', so no modifications can be made to a design.

Can you send me some fabric swatches in different colours?

> Sorry we do not have any fabric swatches to send out to customers.

I'm just about to buy my Ball Gown from your website for my School Formal, and need to know if you also make matching ties for men? My School Ball partner needs to have a tie that is the same colour as my dress.

> Neither Allegro Fashion or any of the manufacturers make matching ties or supply extra fabric. However, most of our Ball Gowns come with a complimentary matching sash, so some customers use this to have a tie made up by a dressmaker etc.
